Get found in store search and turn visits into installs
App Store Optimization has two jobs: ranking for the searches your future users actually make, and convincing them to install once they land on your page. We work on both, on the App Store and Google Play. That means keyword research tied to real search intent, metadata written within each store’s rules, screenshots that explain the app at a glance, and native store experiments that show which version converts better. It is an ongoing process, and we run it on our own apps as well.
What we deliver
Keyword research and metadata
Keyword sets by relevance and competition, used in the app name, subtitle and keyword field on iOS, and in the title and descriptions on Google Play.
Screenshots and preview videos
Store creatives that communicate the core value in the first frames, designed for both search results and the full product page.
Custom product pages and store listings
Apple custom product pages and Google Play custom store listings tailored to specific audiences, campaigns or countries.
Store A/B testing
Product page optimization tests on the App Store and store listing experiments on Google Play for icons, screenshots and copy.
Localization
Localised keywords and creatives for priority markets, researched per country rather than translated word for word.
Ratings, reviews and in-app events
Well-timed native rating prompts, review replies, and App Store in-app events or Google Play promotional content for timely updates.
How we approach it
Intent before volume
A high-volume keyword that brings the wrong users hurts conversion. We prioritise terms that match what the app actually does and the people who will keep it.
Test with the stores’ own tools
Where possible we test icons, screenshots and copy with native store experiments, so decisions rest on real store traffic rather than opinion.
ASO and product together
Ratings and conversion depend on the app itself. When reviews point to a bug or a confusing flow, we can fix it in the app, not just in the listing.

How we work
- 01
Discovery
A short call to understand your goals, users and constraints. You get a clear scope, timeline and estimate.
- 02
Design
User flows and high-fidelity screens that follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines — reviewed together before a line of code.
- 03
Build
Iterative development in Swift and SwiftUI with regular TestFlight builds, so you can try the app on your own iPhone as it grows.
- 04
Launch
App Store assets, submission and review handled end to end. Your app goes live under your own developer account.

Support
Bug fixes, iOS version updates and new features after launch — based on real user feedback and analytics.
Questions
How long until ASO changes show results?
Conversion changes from new screenshots or icons can usually be read within a few weeks, depending on traffic. Keyword ranking changes on the App Store generally appear after the new version is approved and indexed, then settle over the following weeks. On Google Play, ranking effects tend to be slower and less direct. We plan ASO as a series of updates, not a single fix.
Is ASO different on the App Store and Google Play?
Yes. The App Store uses a hidden keyword field alongside the app name and subtitle, while Google Play reads the title, short description and full description. Their testing tools, custom listing options and review systems also differ, so we work on each store separately.
What are custom product pages?
They are alternative versions of your App Store product page with different screenshots, preview videos and promotional text, each with its own link. You can point ads or campaigns at the page that best matches the audience. Google Play offers a similar feature called custom store listings.
How do you improve ratings without breaking the rules?
We use the native rating prompts on iOS and Android, shown after a positive moment in the app rather than at launch, and never offer rewards for reviews. We also reply to reviews and feed recurring complaints back into the product roadmap.
Can you localise our store listing?
Yes. We research keywords for each target market and adapt screenshots and copy to local search behaviour. We usually start with the markets where your app already gets traffic or where competition is lower.
