iOS App Development

Native iPhone and iPad apps, built by an iOS-first team

iOS is where we do our best work. We publish and maintain our own apps on the App Store, which means we deal with Apple’s review guidelines, new OS releases and real user feedback every year, not just on client projects. We build in Swift and SwiftUI, follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines closely and reach into the system where it adds value: widgets, notifications, Shortcuts, printing, Bluetooth and on-device machine learning. The result feels like it belongs on an iPhone, because it was built for one.

What we deliver

SwiftUI app architecture

A clean, testable codebase in modern Swift that is easy for your team or ours to extend for years.

iPhone and iPad layouts

Interfaces that adapt properly to every screen size, orientation and multitasking mode instead of a stretched phone layout.

Widgets and system extensions

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Live Activities, share extensions and Shortcuts that bring your app into the rest of iOS.

Hardware and framework integrations

Bluetooth, AirPrint, CallKit, MapKit, HealthKit, Vision and other Apple frameworks, wired in carefully and with clear permission prompts.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases

StoreKit setup, paywalls and receipt handling that pass review and keep revenue reporting accurate.

App Store release

TestFlight distribution, store listing and submission under your own Apple Developer account.

How we approach it

We know the review process first-hand

Shipping our own apps keeps us current on what Apple accepts and rejects, so fewer surprises reach your launch date.

Platform features, used with intent

We suggest widgets, Live Activities or on-device intelligence only when they make the core task faster for your users.

Ready for each new iOS

We test against Apple’s betas each summer and plan the updates your app needs before the public release lands.

Each of these iOS apps leans on a different part of the system, from AirPrint and Bluetooth to call blocking.

How we work

  1. 01

    Discovery

A short call to understand your goals, users and constraints. You get a clear scope, timeline and estimate.

  2. 02

    Design

User flows and high-fidelity screens that follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines — reviewed together before a line of code.

  3. 03

    Build

Iterative development in Swift and SwiftUI with regular TestFlight builds, so you can try the app on your own iPhone as it grows.

  4. 04

    Launch

App Store assets, submission and review handled end to end. Your app goes live under your own developer account.

  5. 05

    Support

Bug fixes, iOS version updates and new features after launch — based on real user feedback and analytics.

Questions

Do you use SwiftUI or UIKit?

SwiftUI is our default for new apps. We still use UIKit where it is the better tool, such as complex text editing or older codebases, and mix the two cleanly when needed.

Can you build widgets and Live Activities?

Yes. We build Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy widgets as well as Live Activities, and design them so they stay useful at a glance.

Which iOS versions will the app support?

We usually target the current and previous major iOS releases, which covers the vast majority of active iPhones. If your audience needs older versions, we plan for it up front.

Who owns the source code?

You do. The full source code is yours, and the app is published under your own Apple Developer account, so you are never locked in to us.
