Modernize your app without starting over
Legacy code slows everything down. Features take longer, new developers struggle to get started and every OS update brings new problems. Modernization fixes the foundation while your app stays live. We migrate iOS apps from UIKit to SwiftUI, Android apps from Java to Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, and outdated backends to maintainable cloud services, usually screen by screen and service by service. When a rewrite really is the better option, we plan it so users move across without losing data or trust.
What we deliver
UIKit to SwiftUI migration
Incremental adoption of SwiftUI alongside existing UIKit screens, with modern concurrency and data flow.
Java to Kotlin migration
Conversion to idiomatic Kotlin, coroutines and Jetpack Compose without freezing feature work.
Legacy backend migration
Moving ageing servers and APIs to supported runtimes and managed cloud services with planned data migration.
Cross-platform consolidation
Assessing and executing a move to Flutter or React Native where one shared codebase makes sense.
Planned rewrites
When incremental change is not enough, a phased rewrite with parallel running, data migration and a clear cut-over.
How we approach it
Incremental by default
We modernize in slices that ship on their own, so value arrives early and risk stays low.
Feature work continues
Migration is planned around your roadmap, not instead of it, so the product keeps moving forward.
Users never notice
Data, sessions and purchases carry over intact. The goal is a better app, not a disruptive one.

How we work
- 01
Discovery
A short call to understand your goals, users and constraints. You get a clear scope, timeline and estimate.
- 02
Design
User flows and high-fidelity screens that follow Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines — reviewed together before a line of code.
- 03
Build
Iterative development in Swift and SwiftUI with regular TestFlight builds, so you can try the app on your own iPhone as it grows.
- 04
Launch
App Store assets, submission and review handled end to end. Your app goes live under your own developer account.
- 05
Support
Bug fixes, iOS version updates and new features after launch — based on real user feedback and analytics.
Questions
Do we have to migrate the whole app to SwiftUI at once?
No. SwiftUI and UIKit work side by side, so we usually start with new screens and the areas that change most often, then migrate the rest over time.
Is it worth converting an Android app from Java to Kotlin?
For apps that are still actively developed, usually yes. Kotlin is Google’s preferred language for Android, most new libraries and Jetpack Compose are Kotlin-first, and the code tends to be shorter and safer. Java and Kotlin interoperate, so the move can be gradual.
When is a full rewrite better than refactoring?
When the platform itself is no longer viable, such as an abandoned framework, or when the architecture blocks most of your roadmap. Even then, we plan the rewrite in phases and keep the old app running until the new one is ready.
How do you keep user data safe during a backend migration?
We map the data model, run migrations in staging with production-like data, verify results and plan a cut-over with a rollback path. Where possible, old and new systems run in parallel for a period.
