Questions
How do we know whether to build custom software or buy an existing tool?
If an existing product covers most of your needs and the gaps are minor, buying is usually cheaper. Custom makes sense when your process is a competitive advantage, when integration costs keep growing, or when per-seat licences outweigh the cost of building. Can you integrate with the systems we already use?
